After five successful years in London, the “Oscars for Museums” came to Berlin for the first time in 2020, reaching 450m+ travellers through media.
The Awards shines a light on the most exceptional, established and emerging cultural destinations worldwide, connecting the culturE and tourism sector to create a more sustainable tomorrow for future citizens.
Following our event in South America in Q4 2023 the Awards will host events in Europe in 2024 continuing to shine light on the exceptional impact museums have on cities, the economy through tourism & their local community through new learning experiences.
THE Selection process
OUR SHORTLIST IS DRAWN UP FROM THE NOMINATIONS OF OUR AMBASSADORS, OUR OWN EXHAUSTIVE RESEARCH, and THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE WORLD’S LEADING CULTURAL PLANNING CONSULTANCY: LORD CULTURAL RESOURCES. Once the shortlist is refined to three institutions per category, the Jury casts its final vote to declare the winner in each category.
